EM Challenge #12: Dinner (Lunch)
Today I got my lunch at Arby's...I was in the mood for something different than a hamburger. I went to Arby's and got the Market Fresh Chicken Salad sandwich. It is really good. I had a few minutes so I drew it. It took me about 5-10 minutes to draw it. Later on I went back in with my pen and darkened some the lines to make it pop a little. When I got home, I spent about an hour coloring it with my watercolor crayons and then painting on top of it.

Yummo! What a great drawing.
This is fabulously done. I could break my No Fast Foods vow for this ;D.
Julie, this is very strong. Good composition and you have a very whimsical style. The water color/pencil combination is a good one for you. I think your hand lettering adds to the quality. You should look into biographical graphic novels. Your style fits right in.
Julie,
Your drawings are always absolutely AMAZING! I really like everything about them and glad that I don't have to critique them like 'art classes' make you do...because I wouldn't have anything to say!
And I enjoyed getting a glimpse into your journal also. Fabulous stuff...thanks for sharing it with us all.
Sorry, my last post didn't take because I wasn't signed in. I really think this is a fun drawing Julie. I will need to slow down and try to sketch my food before I gobble it down next time. But I make NO promises! ha ha
Wow this is great. Such detail. A drawing like this would have taken me days...and you ate this today? Wonderful work.

Excellent! Very nice drawing and colours!
Wow -- this is great! I like your step-by-step explanation of how you did the page. If the Arby's people see this one, they'll be knocking at your door asking you to come to work for them!
This really does pop. I love the composition, how you've filled the page, how inviting it looks. And I appreciate the notes on how you did it. You should think of illustrating a cookbook! (Although you do every so well.)
