Inspired by lettters

Greg brought in a bushel basket of old wooden letters he found in his barn. He said his dad probably picked them up at an auction. Our class focused on lettering today. We talked about ways to incorporate creative lettering styles into our journals. Even though I was supposed to be coming up with sketches for creatively expressing a quote or something, I couldn't resist drawing this basket of letters...it was the first thing that caught my eye when I walked in the room...and I am glad I didn't ignore it. It's such an unusual collection and was great fun to draw!
